Debra Booker
Debra is the current president and a charter member of Chi Pi Zeta Chapter. She has lived in Hinesville for 16 years. Debra is originally from Wisconsin where she chartered Lambda Lambda Chapter in Milwaukee. Debra has been a Zeta since 1981 and celebrates her 30th Zeta birthday on December 5th. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Argosy University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. Debra currently works as Chief of Operations for the Department of Defense Schools on Ft. Stewart and additionally works as an Associate Professor of Psychology at Ashford University. She has served in the capacity of Career Counselor, Fatherhood Program Director and Dean of Instruction at a Technical College as well as Therapist at a Family Counseling Center. Debra has been a featured presenter at two National Youth at Risk Conferences and was appointed to a Georgia Delegation assembled to address the U.S. Congress on national fatherhood issues. Debra is a 13-year veteran of the U.S. Army where she served as a Behavioral Science Specialist, working in Social Work Services, Community Mental Health, the Army Substance Abuse Program and Psychology Services. She has one son who is currently a college junior and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. November 2011
Dr. A'ndrea Wilson
A'ndrea Wilson is a published author and a college professor. She has earned a Bachelor's in Psychology, a Master's in Counseling Psychology; Marriage and Family Counseling, and a Doctorate in Global Leadership; Educational Leadership. She has held various titles from therapist to business owner. She is is the founder of Divine Garden Press and has recently released her fifth book, the novel, Wife 101. As a member of Chi Pi Zeta, A'ndrea is the Chairperson for the 2011 & 2012 Ladies of the Dove Literary Festival, the Chairperson of the Amicae Committee, and the Historian/Webmistress. A'ndrea has been a Zeta since 2002 and will celebrate her 9th Zeta birthday in December of 2011.
Lucinda Wallace
Lucinda was born in Douglas, G.A. She is married to Rev. Larry Wallace (15 years strong!) and they have two boys: Jamal Baker and Nathan R. Wallace. Lucinda is a retired veteran of the U.S. Army. She loves sports, meeting people, coaching basketball, and traveling. Lucinda graduated from Savannah State with a Bachelor's of Science in Sociology, minoring in Behavioral Science. She also attended South University and obtained a Master's of Arts in Counseling. She is a ten year cancer survivor and a member of Baconton Missionary Baptist Church. Lucinda was recently featured in the local newspaper for her continuous volunteer work in the Hinesville/Ft. Stewart community and her winning battle against cancer. She was welcomed into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in the Spring of 2011.

Connie McCurtis
Connie McCurtis has lived in the Ft. Stewart/Hinesville, GA community for over 5 years. She has Bachelor's degree in Special Education, a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), and a Post-Graduate Educational Specialist Degree (Ed.S) in Education Counselor and Supervision. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of DE/MD Department of Professional Regulation. Connie has served in the capacity as social worker and special education teacher for over 15 years with Department of Defense, and prior to that she served in the United States Air Force. As a former teacher and an energetic social worker, Connie enjoys working with children and families with emphasis in promoting social change through the development of cross-system collaborations that contribute to school and community improvement initiatives. Presently, Connie volunteers with old-older senior citizens, promoting optimal human development, wellness, and mental health through outreach, prevention, and early prevention strategies providing both direct and indirect services in the community settings. As a member of Chi Pi Zeta, Connie is the Chairperson of the Highsmith Foundation Committee and a Financial Advisor. September 2011
Elizabeth Marlin
Elizabeth Marlin hales from North Little Rock, AR. She became a Zeta through the Iota Nu Chapter at Arkansas State University in fall 2004. She joined the Chi Pi Zeta Chapter in 2009 and currently serves as the Chapter Secretary. Elizabeth graduated from Arkansas State University; where she was a Distinguished Military Graduate and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology with a minor in Military Science. She was commissioned in the Military Intelligence Corps in 2006 and currently holds the rank of Captain. She has deployed twice to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. She has served the positions of Human Intelligence Platoon Leader, Battalion Intelligence Officer, and Assistant Brigade Intelligence Officer. She was recently selected to serve as the Company Commander of B Co, 4-3 BSTB, 3ID. Following command she plans to return to school to obtain her master’s degree. June/July/August 2011
Chemeka Harris
Chemeka is a native of Brunswick, who became both a Zeta and a member of Chi Pi Zeta in the Spring of 2011. Chemeka graduated from American Military University with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology in May of 2011. She is a wife and the mother to two beautiful children Faniche, 14, and Joshua, 9. Mrs. Harris, a Veteran of the US Army and Army Reserve where she served for eight years, currently works for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center as a Staff Assistant. Her future plans include pursuing a Masters Degree in Public Administration with hopes of furthering my career in the public service arena. Chemeka states, "I strive to live each day of my life with passion and purpose. I hope that in my living, I am an encouragement to others I encounter to believe in themselves and to pursue their individual happiness with all their might." Denise Dunn
Denise Dunn is the registrar for Patrick L. Kessler Elementary School, located on Fort Stewart, Georgia. On June 26, 2011, Denise received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Savannah campus. She hopes to utilize her education in a future business start-up. A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Soror Dunn is a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force. She served on active duty as a military personnel specialist and as a flight attendant aboard Air Force II and other aircraft transporting our nation’s leaders around the world.
Aleesha Butler
Aleesha Butler, originally from Brooklyn, New York, is a six year Air Force military police veteran. She has earned an Associate's in Judicial Administration and a Bachelor's in Human Services with a specialization in Law Enforcement from Wayland Baptist University, Hawaii and Plainview, TX campuses. She is a recent graduate of the University of Phoenix, obtaining an MBA in June of 2011. Her future goal is to obtain an additional Masters Degree in the Social Psychology field. She currently works for the Dept of Defense Education Activity on Fort Stewart. | |
